A cause of death was not immediately shared. Rowlands was diagnosed with Alzheimerā€™s in 2019, her family said earlier this year.

Nick disclosed his motherā€™s Alzheimerā€™s diagnosis over the summer.

ā€œI got my mom to play older Allie, and we spent a lot of time talking about Alzheimerā€™s and wanting to be authentic with it, and now, for the last five years, sheā€™s had Alzheimerā€™s,ā€ he toldĀ EW. ā€œSheā€™s in full dementia.
