Gina Gershon starred next to Tom Cruise in 1988’s film Cocktail. Now decades later, she is set to make some confessions which has people shocked!

Keep reading to know more about what the actress had to say about her time filming with Cruise!

Gina Gershon was shooting with Tom Cruise for Cocktail. The first time the pair had to do an intimate sex scene, things did not go as planned. The sex scene was Gershon’s first time doing one on-camera and hence Tom took the lead.

In a recent interview earlier this week, the actress spilled the beans about what happened behind the scenes of the famous movie known for its steamy scenes between the couple.

She shared that Cruise was a wonderful scene partner and took the utmost care of her during the scene. While they were faking the scene, it seems a catastrophic moment came about. Gina had apparently told Cruise that she is “very ticklish” and that there are some things he needs to avoid to get a good performance out of her.

She shared, “In one take I have to say, I think he wanted a reaction, he grabbed my stomach and I kneed him right in the nose.”

The knee-jerk reaction was incredibly natural but one Gina felt incredibly bad about. She profusely apologized to Tom and he was completely fine with it, and did not seem too bothered about what had happened. He even took accountability for cross a boundary she had specified beforehand which had led to the accident occurring in the first place.

The interviewer was tempted to ask Gina about whether she and Tom ‘hooked up’ behind the scenes and she immediately put the rumors to rest. She said at the time, Tom was very much married to Mimi Rogers who was on set for the film and introduced herself to everyone.

But she did add how she and Tom had grabbed every opportunity to kiss on screen, “But we did kiss as much as we could. I think we should kiss more.”
