Chris put up an Instagram story late Friday night that had a friend named Courtland Young in it. He added something to his own story afterward.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t answer every direct message you send me.””I had his back, I got him, and I was his friend,” he said.
“People in his life can tell you to shut up about things you don’t know,” the artist said.
“But I can’t talk about this right now,” Courtland said. “I’ve been on the phone with his family and close friend.”
“You want to know something about the fact that I just saw a close friend kill themselves? “Leave the crappy place!” He broke out in a cry.
People who were following him were told, “Please let his family grieve while things are worked out.”
DJ Scheme, Chris’s 26-year-old Industry rapper, wrote “RIP” on X, the site that used to be Twitter.
“What the heck is this? This is silly!” The man asked.
“Rest in peace, Chris King,” DJ Scheme said.
Anyone who followed them said they were horrified when they heard the terrible news.
Someone on X said, “What?!?”
Is it really happening, bro? asked a second question.
Someone else said, “This s**t is unbelievable.”
“There’s no way!” said three people. Best of luck, dude.
