Considering the fact that her daughter is only 12 years old, it really may have some merit behind it. Then again, Victoria Beckham is a model and former pop star, so she has raised an eyebrow or two as well.
The family pictures were shared on Instagram but nobody could get past Harper’s slip dress. Despite the fact that there was a lot going on, it seemed as if the dress was the only thing on people’s minds.
One of the reasons why so many people were upset over the dress was because of her age. They began debating about what was appropriate for a girl that age, and there were many viewpoints that were thrown into the mix.
In the end, it is really up to the parents to decide what is appropriate and what is not appropriate for their daughter. Harper also has some say in the matter, undoubtedly because her parents give her a little leeway.
It’s also interesting to note that this isn’t the first time that Harper sparked a debate with her clothing choice. On her 12th birthday party, she wore a lilac slip dress, and it also got some negative attention.
