According to the description on the festival’s website, “The Red Sea International Film Festival is the region’s premier cinematic event and the first and only international film festival in Saudi Arabia.”

Additionally, the event, which takes place in Al Balad’s Culture Square, “welcomes film enthusiasts and filmmakers from Saudi Arabia and beyond, with a wide range of events, programs, activities, and accompanying parties.”
