āThis is the end of big world tours for me,ā heĀ wrote. āBut donāt worry, Iām not retiring. I still love what I do. Itās just time to play in smaller, more intimate venues.ā
The rock star stated that, although his health is in great shape and his iconic hair is still intact, he feels itās time to step away from the demanding globe-trotting lifestyle of large-scale concerts.
āIām fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79,ā theĀ rocker wrote on Instagram.
