Most ‘Realistic’ Depiction Of A Dream Is Scarily Accurate

Filmmaker Steal Adcock’s first-person ‘super realistic’ simulation of a dream has left viewers divided

The dream simulation created by filmmaker Steal Adcock has ‘terrified’ some viewers.

Have you ever woken up feeling absolutely certain you were just in the middle of experiencing a vivid dream, but for the life of you, you can’t remember any of it?

Well, you might be in luck—or maybe not—depending on how you feel about the video below.

Steal Adcock is known for creating simulation videos on his YouTube channel ‘HandintheBoxInc,’ and there’s one video in particular that viewers believe is disturbingly ‘accurate.’

In the video, Adcock plays the role of the dreamer, and it all starts off in what seems like a normal enough setting—a bathroom.

But things quickly spiral into the bizarre as he makes his way into ‘a pit of darkness,’ eventually finding himself in a forest, and later on, a tunnel.

Throughout the dream, random and strange elements keep appearing.

For instance, a girl named Jayda shows up. At one point, she’s tied up by police tape, and in the next moment, she’s traveling upside-down on a moving wheelchair.

Despite the chaotic and seemingly nonsensical nature of the simulation, many people are saying that it ‘captures the cluttered, almost claustrophobic nature of dreams’ in a way that feels very real.

“Every time I think of the dreams I had, I always feel they’re claustrophobic, and this emulates it pretty damn well. Good job,” one viewer commented.

Another added: “Bro, this is super realistic. I didn’t even think anyone could reproduce what it’s actually like to be in a dream.”

A third person shared: “Can totally relate my dream to this video. The way it moves from one scene to another, skipping a few moments.
